SSL connection via Proxy HTTP

Hi everyone.

I need to retrieve some certificates and to add them to my KeyStore. I
found 
on this blog 
http://blogs.sun.com/andreas/entry/no_more_unable_to_find
how to do this with a socket-based java code, but sometimes I have to work
via http proxy server which don't supports any socket request. Can someone
suggest another way to retrive the certificate?
