How to process data in Matlab from a different software?
We are collecting data using a software called Windaqpro(Dataq Instruments di720) of the type filename.wdq. We are not able to read it directly in Matlab but convert it into the text format and this consumes lot of space and time. We have collected around 50 readings and each one takes half an hour, and this takes awful lot of time. Can you please suggest a method in matlab where we could overcome this problem? Thank You, Vidya Matlab can read binary files of arbitrary format (see help on fopen, fread, fseek, etc.) Will this not do what you want?? VIDYA ALAGIRISWAMY wrote: > > > ...

FMP 7 script: replace command
Up to FMP 5 (or 6?), the replace command (replace the values of a field in all found records with [whatever]) would only work when the field in question was on the layout. My FMP 7 help file says FMP would issue an error code if the field was not on the layout. When I run a simple test, the replace command works fine with fields that are not on the layout.
