Using Javascript to walk COM objects dynamically?

I'm looking for a way of walking a COM (ActiveX) object with
Javascript, identifying the fields in the COM objects and their data
types. Once this information is found, I need to initialize the fields
to their appropriate data types, e.g., text to " " and numeric to 0.
