convert a text report to an image

To protect from editing a text report, I want to make an watermarked image(any format and bit) from the text report which has already been made.
How to do this work? Does Any funciton exist in LV8.2?

hi there
you could show the report on a VIs front panel in a string control and then use the "GetImage" method of the control. see attached example...

That's good idea.
However, do you know how to insert a watermarked image (such as company logo) to the created image?

hi there
try this:
1. create an image of your watermark (use same bitdepth as in GetImage method and same size as your control). Use BLACK as background (0x000000)2. unflatten watermark with UnflattenPixmap.vi3. execute GetImage at the controls reference and unflatten with UnflattenPixmap.vi4. Sum the "Pixmap" arrays of both unflattenend pixmaps5. Flatten summarized pixmaps and save as picture

How do I convert labview code to text code?
Hi, I have a complicated LabView code given by a device maker (LakeShore). I want to convert it to a simpler LabView code. I think that the best way to do that is to first understand their algorithm. Is there a way I can "convert" the Labview code to a simple, text algorithm? Thanks,Amit. No, but if the code is fully available, you can do some refactoring and cleaning up to better understand what's going on. Usually, just cleaning up the code and documenting each section using comments makes it easier to understand. Also, you can use the Edit>>Create SubVI option to encapsulate pieces of the code into VIs to make it easier to read. Just note that all this requires being careful so that you don't change the functionality of the code. ...

aligning text and image-text
I use a program to make Email addresses harder for spammers to harvest. It converts them to slightly blurred images using http://mindprod.com/products1.html#MASKER When I embed them in text, I have figured out how to get them to align naturally with the surrounding text, but the browser inserts extra inter-line spacing above the line containing the image. You can see the effect at http://mindprod.com/book/books.html at the bottom of the page where it says: "Please email your feedback for publication, letters to the editor, errors, omissions, typos, formatting errors, ambig...

Text IN an Image To Straight Text?
Hi. (I'm not sure where to ask this so I'm trying a few newsgroups) I have some .jpg's of text documents. Is there a utility which will work like OCR in a scanner, helping to convert the text WITHIN the image to straight text? I don't have a printer working at the moment, or I'd print the .jpg's and then scan them using OCR. (The format doesn't necessarily have to be .jpg) Thanks in advance for any help GP Yes, if the image is not to bad a pic (not much noise and all that). How can I convert a bitmap image into an array in LabVIEW...
How can I convert a bitmap image into an array in LabVIEW 6.0.2, then to a spreadsheet for further analysis without NI-IMAQ or Vision? I do not have NI-IMAQ or NI Vision. I acquired the image using a picolo board then just saved it as a bitmap file. You want to convert it to an array of what? Of numbers? Of LabVIEW colors? The "Read BMP File.vi" VI outputs a 1-D array of the pixels, but I suspect it is not exactly in the format that you need. I am NOT sure, but I think that each group of 3 elements of that 1-D array (which is inside the cluster "image data" that the VI...

Converting html documents to plain text using LabVIEW
I have a large number of html test reports that were created in TestStand that I want to post process (search through for data) using LabVIEW. Currently if I open them I see all the html tags and I want to know if there is an easy way to clean that out and get the raw information...(similar to opening a document in a web browser and doing a "save as text file"). I have the internet toolkit and the "Internet Applications in LabVIEW" text, but couldn't find what I wanted in either place. Anyone ever do this before? My next course of action would be to use ActiveX and try to save it as text through the browser, but that would be very slow (open IE, open file, save as text, close IE, open text file, process, delete text file...repeat thousands of times). Any info would be appreciated. Hi John, I have not personally explored this stuff myself, but, On your functions palette goto Advanced>>>Data manipulation>>>XML and you will find a sub-palette full of stuff that looks good to me. Let us know if any of thes are useful. Ben Excellent advice, Dennis! Dennis, Thanks for the response. You're preaching to the choir here. How to capture and convert a 80x25 text screen with colors to an image format?
I thought it'd be nice to have an image of the output of one of my programs. So, I'd like to capture an 80x25 text screen with colors in MS-DOS (BIOS calls) to a standard image format. I mean an image format like jpeg, gif, tiff, png, or bmp that can be converted or resized with programs like Photoshop or GIMP. The format doesn't really matter as long as it's a supported type. In the end, I'll probably convert to jpeg or png. I'm assuming the program would need to read the screen's text and colors, and convert each character of the text to an image for...

Convert a 2D image into a 3D image
Hello, I have an image in 2D that I need to change into a 3D image to do some simulations with it. Does anyone know how to make this image into 3D. I have thought of using rotation matrices on each point and copying this point around the object to give it volume, but that has proven worthless. Can anyone help me. I mean that depends on what you want to do with your image. Obviously, you can just replicate your data through the third plane, but you wouldn't gain any additional information by doing that. You only have data in 2D to generate 3D data you either need more data or to assume th...

Converting images without Image::Magick
Like so many others, I can't get Image::Magick to install on my server. I found where someone had posted (in 2007) that you can first install graphviz RPM, then the module IPC-Run, then the module GraphViz, and THEN you might be able to install Image::Magick, but that's a lot of work if there's an easier way around my problem. All that I'm using it for is to convert BMP, GIF, and PNG files to JPG. Is there another way to do this? I've been using Imager; I don't suppose that you can convert an image with that module, can you? Am Tue, 17 Nov 2009 00:39:01 -0800...

Replace text with image in text widget

I know I'm not doing this correctly: the sample code below inserts two images randomly and seems to garble the text in other ways.
