Fatal Error - LABVIEW.LIB was not called from a LabVIEW process.

After creating an installaion program, I tried testing the install of my app.  The application user interface appears with a Fatal Error dialog box stating LABVIEW.LIB was not called from a LabVIEW process.

Other information on this forum regarding a LABVIE.LIB error, usually mention some types of .dll calls, I have no such calls in my application so I'm curious if anyone else has a similar problem and hopefully a solution.

Development machine and test install system both XP Pro
Using LabVIEW 8.0.1

Thanks in advance.

STRANGE "Fatal error: Call to undefined function..." ERROR
why strange you ask? here goes: I have been working with Php and Mysql for a week without any problems. Today I tried executing a php page that connects to mysql and creates a new database, I got this error: "Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\test\_debug_tmp.php on line 3". I did some reading on the net and checked all my configuration, and it looks o.k. (and it already worked well a whole week before today). The strange thing is that I have another form that inserts data into the same database in Mysql, and it works like a charm (needless to say but both pages log in with the same username to the same database). any ideas? > I have been working with Php and Mysql for a week without any problems. > Today I tried executing a php page that connects to mysql and creates a > new database, I got this error: > > "Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in C:\Program > Files\Apache Group\Apache2\test\_debug_tmp.php on line 3". Your problem seems that the dll file for mysql is not loaded in your configuration. Why the other one works I do not know what your exact configuration is. Mike PROBLEM & MISTERY SOLVED: for some reason my php editor used in some pages the php.ini found in my php directory (there pages did not work). and the pages that did work used another php.ini file found in my c:\windows\system32\ directory. anyway, thanks alot for the h...

Fatal error: Call to undefined function
I'm a PHP and MySQL newbie. I have a feeling a lot of you may have seen this before. I'm teaching myself PHP/MySQL and trying to setup a guestbook. I'm running latest versions of Apache, PHP and MySql on WIN 2000. PHP is installed from the zip file. When serving php docs (code snippets below) I get the messages: "Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() " "Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_pconnect() " I've been reading and searching and trying all sorts of things to fix this and can't find the solution. I've removed the comment from the line "extension=php_mysql.dll" in php.ini. (Below is the MySQL section of php.ini. It's pretty standard, I'm using defaults.) I edited my Apache config file with the needed lines: ### Section 4: PHP 5 Module # LoadModule php5_module "C:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache2/PHP/php5apache2.dll" AddType application/x-httpd-php .php AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps PHPIniDir "C:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache2/PHP" When I run phpinfo, MySQL is not listed. Do I need to enable it in the configure command? How do I edit the configure command. Per phpinfo, It now reads: Configure Command cscript /nologo configure.js "--with-gd=shared" "--enable-snapshot-build" I read these comments online: Ok, your php.ini file is set to 'on' for mysql.allow_persistent, b...

I am getting a "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreatefromjpeg() in..." error in one of my scripts, and after doing a bit of searching on the 'net I found various messages relating to a failure to have the GD library installed. However, my phpinfo() reports (in the Apache GD section): GD Support enabled GD Version bundled (2.0 compatible) GIF Read Support enabled PNG Support enabled WBMP Support enabled I tried running a configure/make/make install with the following configure command line... ../configure --with-mysql --with-apxs2 --with-zlib-dir=/etc/rpms/php-4.3.1/ext/zlib --with-png --with-png-dir=/usr/lib --with-jpeg --with-jpeg-dir=/usr/lib --with-gd ....with no change in status. What puzzles me is that phpinfo() also reports... Configure Command './configure' '--with-mysql' '--with-apxs2' .... not reflecting the options I specified. [LONG] Error calling function in a shared lib
Hi, Since it appears from an earlier thread that I can't use the LD_PRELOAD mechanism to augment an existing shared lib that I have (but don't have the source for), I am trying to create a wrapper shared lib instead, but I'm having trouble calling functions in the existing shared lib. This is going to be a bit more complicated because it turns out that some functions the original SO ("Orig.so") call functions in another existing SO ("another.so"). I am using Sun Studio 11/cc. I'm just getting started, and I haven't worked with shared libs before, but in Sun Studio, I created a .C file for my shared lib. What I have thus far is shown below. In the code below, what I was trying to do in the 'init' section was to load the original SO, and then populate a global pointer ('real_dm_init') to the 'dm_init' function in the original SO. Then, when my 'dm_init' function gets called by the server, it calls the dm_init function in the original SO. The function prototype for 'dm_init' is: int dm_init(const void *, void *); However, I am having a problem in the part of my "so_initialization" function where I am trying to populate 'real_dm_init'. When I try that, I am getting an error: ld.so.1: server: fatal: relocation error: file /jim/C-projects/Orig.so: symbol xxxxxxxxx: referenced symbol not found "xxxxxxxxx" is one of the functions in "another.so". Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreatefromjpeg()
Folks, I feel like pulling my hair out - I tried unsuccessfully over the past few days to install ImagMagick but because of version conflicts and missing libraries I had to give up. I originally choose ImageMagick because I've heard so much about it. I then decided to go with the inbuilt GD tools since I'm using PHP 4.3.3 that I compiled with --with-gd. I can use some of the image functions in PHP so why is this one undefined? What can I do to resolve it? The message follows, in addition, I include an extract from my phpinfo() to show that I do have GD Support fully enabled. Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreatefromjpeg() An extract from phpinfo(); tells me the following: GD Support enabled GD Version bundled (2.0.15 compatible) GIF Read Support enabled PNG Support enabled WBMP Support enabled XBM Support enabled What do I need to do to fix the problem? -- A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text. Fatal error: Call to a member function add_item() on a non-object

I've been trying for 2 weeks now and I still don't know what to do. TIA! Is this from the command line, or from a browser-driven app? If the former, this is usual, as MySQL ab are doing stupid things with licensing. If you wand mysql support from the command line, you'll have to roll your own. Using this script never has been a problem with PHP4 and I have no idea how to cope with this. Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance Christian extractLog.php ============= <?php include_once('writeTextFileHeader.php'); include_once('dumpDhcpLogToTextFile.php'); include_once('writeMySqlCreateScript.php'); include_once('dumpDhcpLogToMySqlInsertScript.php'); include_once('dumpDhcpLogToMySqlServer.php'); include_once('traverseDirTree.php'); include_once('getArgValue.php'); include_once('getConnectionDetails.php'); set_time_limit(0); error_reporting(E_ALL); $version = "Version 3.1 vom 7.3.2007"; $parameter = &getConnectionDetails(false); getConnectionDetails.php ==================== <? include_once('getDefaultHead.php...
