Why windows layer can't connect to the RT system

Currently, we have developed the software including the windows layer, Real-Time(RT) layer and FPGA layer using cRIO. However, one problem occurs recently. It is the builded window layer software can't connect to the RT system in some PCs and it is working well in some other PCs.

Our configuration: cRIO 9014 controller, RIO 2.1.3, Labview 8.2, Labview FPGA 8.2, Labview 8.2 Real-Time.

What's wrong with our software? We have tried build the windows layer on the 2 PCs separatedly, however, the two builded softwares all just can connect to RT system in one PC and other PCs still can't connect with RT system.

We have using cRIO for a long time and this problem just occurs recently after we have updated our controller from 9004 to 9014 and RIO from 2.1.1 to 2.1.3.

The operation system in these two controller 9004 and 9014 are different. Is this the root cause of this problem? How to solve this problem?

The builded software ought to be avaiable to connect to the RT system for all PCs even not install Labview, isn't it?

In that case, it should has not relationship with the MAX setting, right?

MAX is used to configure the cRIO driver. cRIO driver installation installs MAX. For a deployed system you require:The RIO driver. The LV run-time.MAX for configuration of the HW and driver

Can't connect to X11 window server using 'localhost:0.0'
Hi. I'm using sendmail 8.12.9 for a project on RedHat Fedora Core 2 on my personal computer with a perfectly finctioning X window server. When I attempted this originally, I got the following error: "No X11 DISPLAY variable was set, but this program performed an operation which requires it." Figuring that sendmail for whatever reason unset it, I added called setenv() to set it and got the following error: "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.InternalError: Can't connect to X11 wind...

Windows "routing" server separating two subnets
Gurus, I have a small lab with a bunch of servers setup on two different subnets, 192.168.1.1 is the gateway for one and 172.16.1.1 is the gateway for the other. Installed on my Router (Windows Server with three NICs - I know, please don't comment on this, it's is for learning purposes, not production), the third NIC is the gateway to the Internet. What works: The Router server can reach the Internet as well as the computers in the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet (the first subnet built). What's broken: The computers on the 172.16.1.0/16 subnet cannot get to the Inter...

Any release of NT should be able to. If you work out for sure that the Config.sys file is faulty, you can go in with your text editor, and troubleshoot it. GPIB instruments connected through Agilent USB/GPIB Interface can bee seen in MAX but can't communicate in labview
I have an Agilent 82357B USB/GPIB Interface connected to my computer. Attached to that, I have two lock-in amplifiers (an SR830, and an SR 850). I would like to be able to communicate with them through GPIB. I have downloaded and installed the software for the Agilent device (Agilent IO Control), and I can see the interface and the two devices in that software. Here's what is configured in this software, that I can see: - The VISA interface ID is GPIB0, and its address is 0 - The VISA addresses of the devices are GPIB0::4::INSTR and GPIB::12::INSTR, and the GPIB addresses are 4 and 12 In Measerment and Automation Explorer (MAX), I made sure that the Passport for Tulip box was checked. Once it was, I could see the devices in the Configuration window under Devices and Interfaces -> Miscellaneous VISA Resources. There, I see GPIB0::INTFC, GPIB0::4::INSTR and GPIB::12::INSTR. I can right click on either of the instruments, and "Open VISA Test Panel" where I am successfully able to send commands and read from both devices. HOWEVER, when I am running an actual LabView program, I am unable to communicate with the devices. For example, when I try to communicate to the devices through VISA, using the 'Basic Serial Write and Read.vi' (while VISA Resource Name is GPIB0::12::INSTR), I get an error: Error -1073807331 occurred at Property Node (arg 2) in VISA Configure Serial Port (Instr)...

Psion 5mx can't connect to Windows XP

Did you install 2.3.3 into a "clean" machine or had you previously installed an earlier version of PsiWin? If an earlier version had been installed, you should have run the "registry cleaner" after uninstalling it and before installing 2.3.3 If necessary, uninstall 2.3.3, run the reg cleaner and reinstall 2.3.3 - the reg cleaner can be downloaded from the "Series 5(mx)" page of my website.
