New month and a new wave of spam and advertising. Does  anybody else
reports spam & advertisement threads  or I'm the only idiot over
here ? And more intriguing does it done any good?

Why are you bothered? Just ignore them! Or sign up on some newsserver that would
filter spam for you.

I report them.  I think it does *some* good.  On other groups
where I have reported spam the amount of spam has dropped a fair
amount.
