Want updates in .mdb file to update other .mdb file too
Please help. I have two databases - one I'm designing that will be our in-house data mgmt system (db1) and another that is a federally-mandated system (db2). We must submit data from db2 but don't want to use this db for our data mgmt needs. Some of the fields in db1 are shared with db2 but the structure and field names are different. When I'm updating/creating records in db1 I want it to see if the record exists in db2 (shared ID number), if not, create a record, then populate those fields that are shared between the two databases (so that I only have to enter data in db1). I nee...

File Upload issue
I am using PHP Version 4.4.3 under Linux/Apachie to upload files. The PHP.ini upload_max_filesize is 2M, which I need to override this in the HTML (see below). I changed the MAX_FILE_SIZE to 4,000,000 but the system only accepts files less than 2M. Is the override wrong, do I need to raise the limit in the PHP.ini file, or is the Apachie issue. <form name="upload" action="admin.php" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data"> <input type="hidden" name="MAX_FILE_SIZE" value="4000000"> On Wed, 29 Nov 200...

Convert Doc files(.rtf, .doc etc) to DICOM files
Hi, How to convert a doc file(.rtf, .doc, ,docx) to DICOM files? devendra dhayal wrote: > How to convert a doc file(.rtf, .doc, ,docx) to DICOM files? In brief, you cannot :-) Long answer: DICOM is primarily used as an image format, but there are also several SOP classes for non-image information. This includes Structured Reporting (for structured data, including reports) and Encapsulated PDF, which is a PDF file "wrapped" into a DICOM header. There is no such encapsulated format for MS Word, and it is rather unlikely that there ever will be such a format. So your...

ANNOUNCE: Update of Binutils 2.17 uploaded
This is an update to the MSDOS/DJGPP port of GNU Binutils 2.17. Changes since the last release ============================== No significant changes - merely packing the executables with UPX, and other minor administrative tasks. Only the bnu217b.zip package has been updated; the -a, -d, and -s packages are unchanged. The port consists of the usual packages that can be downloaded from ftp.delorie.com and mirrors as: GNU Binutils 2.17 for DJGPP V2: ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/current/v2gnu/bnu217b.zip GNU Binutils 2.17 libraries (BFD, opcodes): ftp://ft...

ANNOUNCE: Update of GDB 6.4 uploaded
This announces a "refresh" of the GDB 6.4 for DJGPP v2.04 on the FTP site. This build is identical to the previous version, except that it has been built against PDcurses 3.0, and therefore supports the TUI mode. This mode can be enabled by invoking either the "gdbtui" script, or passing the -tui switch to GDB. You can download GDB 6.4 at: ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/beta/v2gnu/gdb64b.zip Gordon.Schumacher@seagate.com schrieb: > This announces a "refresh" of the GDB 6.4 for DJGPP v2.04 on the FTP site. Hi all, I'm working on replacing a FORTRAN program with a MATLAB version. The only part that is hanging me up is the analysts want the output to look the same. The data plot is a pseudo-3D waterfall using time, frequency and amplitude. I'm looking for some examples or starting points on attacking creating this type of plot in MATLAB. The method we currently use implements a plot wi...

ANNOUNCE: update of man 1.3 uploaded
This is an update of man 1.3 to MSDOS/DJGPP. DJGPP specific changes. ======================= Nowadays the canonical place where info docs and man pages are stored is in /dev/env/DJDIR/share/info and /dev/env/DJDIR/share/man. Neither the INFOPATH nor the MANPATH environment variables in /dev/env/DJDIR/djgpp.env reflect this fact. Of curse, the user can edit the file and modify the variables accordingly but that is not the goal here. Inspecting the source code of man 1.3 shows that the hard coded defaults for MANPATH specify paths that no longer are canonicals anymore. T...

ANNOUNCE: update of DJGPP port of bzip2 1.0.4 uploaded.
This is an update of the port of bzip2 1.0.4 to MSDOS/DJGPP. DJGPP specific changes. ======================= - There are some DJGPP specific bug fixes so that an update of the library and the program is recommended. This only concerns people using the program on plain DOS but anyway. So if you decide to download this new port, please pay attention to the timestamp: 2007-04-21 23:37 . This timestamp is for ftp.delorie.com and may be different on other mirrors. This update is marked as release 3 in the bz2-104[abds].dsm files. It is important that it is releas...

ANNOUNCE: Update of DJGPP port lcms 1.16 library uploaded
This is an update of the port of the lcms 1.16 library to MSDOS/DJGPP. DJGPP specific changes. ======================= There was a bug in /include/icc34.h that I was not possible to descover by running the testsuite. Now by building an application that uses the library the bug has become evident. This new port fixes this and includes some new icc profiles downloaded from www.imagemagick.org. All DJGPP specific stuff is stored in the /djgpp subdir. It is highly recommended to update this port because the old one is useless for developing software. The port consist...

ANNOUNCE: Update of DJGPP port of FFTW 3.0.1 uploaded
This is a port of FFTW 3.0.1 to MSDOS/DJGPP. FFTW is a free collection of fast C routines for computing the Discrete Fourier Transform in one or more dimensions. It includes complex, real, symmetric, and parallel transforms, and can handle arbitrary array sizes efficiently. FFTW is typically faster than other publically-available FFT implementations, and is even competitive with vendor-tuned libraries. Please, read carefully the NEWS file to see the user visible changes and read the info or html docs to become familiar with the program. DJGPP specific changes. ========...

ANNOUNCE: update of the DJGPP port of GNU binutils 2.17 uploaded.
This is an update of the binaries of the port of GNU binutils to MSDOS/DJGPP. - Only the binary packages (current and beta) have been updated. Both packages contain a dir file, generated automatically by the installation proccess, placed into the /info directory that may overwrite the existing one. This file has been removed. This file also appears in the manifest file, so if you use the manifest to remove the package you will remove your /info/dir too and this may not be what you intended. - The beta binaries have been stripped and compressed with upx. ANNOUNCE: Update of the DJGPP port of GNU grep 2.20 uploaded.
This is an update of the port of GNU grep 2.20 to MSDOS/DJGPP. This is GNU grep, the "fastest grep in the west". GNU grep is based on a fast lazy-state deterministic matcher (about twice as fast as stock Unix egrep) hybridized with a Boyer-Moore-Gosper search for a fixed string that eliminates impossible text from being considered by the full regexp matcher without necessarily having to look at every character. The result is typically many times faster than Unix grep or egrep. (Regular expressions containing backreferencing will run more slowly, ...

This is an update of the port of TIFF library and tools 3.8.2 to MSDOS/DJGPP. DJGPP specific changes. ======================= The file /lib/libtiff.la of the previous port included explicitly by the configuration proccess the c library in the dependency library command. This means that the libtiff.la dependency line looks like this: dependency_libs=' /dev/env/DJDIR/lib/libjpeg.la -lz -lm -lc' Notice the last `-lc entry in the line. When libtool uses this file to link the tiff library to another application, gpp links two times against the c library makeing the link...

Announcement: Python module for pacparser (parses proxy auto-config files)
Fellas, I am mighty pleased to announce the release of python module for pacparser. pacparser is a library to parse proxy auto-config (PAC) files. Proxy auto-config files are already a vastly used web proxy configuration method these days (either directly or via web proxy autodiscovery protocol) and almost all popular web browsers support them. pacparser python module brings in PAC file parsing capability to python programs. Using it, python web software can now work with proxy auto-config files. I am hoping, web software programmers will appreciate it. At least I've been looking for such...
