Job offer for developers with xHarbour skills

  • Follow

Hello,

More and more job openings appear from companies who are seeking
developers with xbase skills like "We looking for a Developer with a
strong background in Clipper, xHarbour, xBase++, or Foxpro.". This is
GOOD! The xHarbour community is generating JOBS now!

It made me think.. why not have a section on the xHarbour website where
companies can advertise their job openings? Like
http://www.xHarbour.com/Jobs ?

Earlier this week Bradley from Ceridian emailed me with a new job
opening they have at their company. You can find their job description
online on the new jobs section.

If you have or know a company seeking for developers with xHarbour
skills, please contact me and we will post it on the new jobs section
as well as on the blog page and news groups.

Good luck and thank you!

Patrick

Hello Patrick,

Very good news :-)

Sometimes I also think (being a freelance programmer) if I had a
secure job, it would be better ;-)

With best regards.

Contract jobs is a norm for programmers. Who wanna keep extra
programmers after the project was done?

Hello Man-wai Chang,

You are correct in one way. :-)

But for my case, I am running my very small software firm ;-) And
offer my clients (who are the end-users) the software I developed for
them. There is no job-contract till now ;-)

With best regards and very very happy new year to you all :-)
