adding a second pcmcia slot

Is it possible to add a secondary pcmcia slot to a notebook that only
currently has 1, via some type of adapter card which will allow 2 cards to
plug into 1 slot?

I Googled "external PCMCIA" and came up with a bunch of hits.

Interesting fro a desktop, but I think he needed one for his notebook.  Did 
you see anything like that?

Type II PC Cards, but they mostly talk about RAM cards.
