I am getting ready to file a complaint with the better business bureau
about the quality of the tech support and customer service for
Alienware.  I was curious if any others out there are having any
problems with them or any problems with the quality of the Alienware
machines.  I have been without my laptop for just over a month and
still waiting on a new keyboard due to the inoperavitve "refurbished"
keyboard they put in mine because my Ctrl keys were not working.  I
had several issues with my laptop after only about 6-8 month of owning
it that I will not get into them now.  If anyone is interested, leave
a post I I will get into it when i have time.

Is this a Sager rebrand?

Did not know what you meant by a Sager rebrand until I did a little
searching.  My Alienware is the first generation Area 51m which looks
extremely similar to the Sager 5690.  So for anyone out there looking
to buy a laptop DO NOT BUY ALIENWARE, their tech support and customer
service are no good.  After looking at the Sager 5690 I realize that I
spent alot of money on a name and not quality equipment.

Sager makes some of the best, high performance laptops available. As for
using refurbed parts to fix your new laptop... all the big names do it...
none of them use news parts, unless there are no refurbs available.
