Dell Inspiron 8600 and Latitude D800 seem to be pretty much equal regarding
specs. Latitude seems more geared towards the medium to large size business
market, where ROI is a big issue, while Inspiron seems geared towards small
businesses and the privat market. The price is also pretty much the same.
I just want the laptop that performs the best, for heavy duty software
development. Graphics performance is not an issue. Disk performance IS an
issue! What should I pick? Any hints or experiences from these models would
be appreciated.
