disassemble emachine
M5312, My cdrom went bad and I can ALMOST get this thing apart. Does anyone
know how to do this. Thanks for any help.

Is that the eMachines laptop? If so, I believe there's 2 screws on the
bottom of the laptop that holds the power button cover down,remove those
screw and the cover.then there are(I believe 3 screw holding the keyboard
down, remove those and pull the keyboard towards you so that you don't have
to unhook it. On the right side are 2 screw holding the drive in( you should
be able to see these as they are attached to the bracket on the rear of the
drive. after you remove these, gently push the drive out of the laptop. Of
course assembly is in the reverse order. I hope this helps.
