HELP ..IBM ERROR 0175: Bad CRC1, stop POST task
Hi
I have an IBM T20 lap top and when I turn it on , I get an
ERROR 0175: Bad CRC1, stop POST task message .
I have been told I need to update the bios , I have the updated program but
a not able to access the drives as the whole system freezes
has anyone had this problem and do you know of a fix or a way to get the
floppy to run ?

This code is for BIOS/backup battery. It costs $14 on the net.
Replace that first. Go to the IBM site and download the hardware
manual. It is in PDF format.
