Hi

I have a new HP DV1470, but it doesn't have a way to turn off the touch 
pad, so when I type, it get's hit a lot.

Is there any program I can install that will turn it off?

Some HP laptops have a bar-shaped button at the top of the pad to turn 
it off.  Disable in Device Manager and use a wireless notebook mouse 
(Logitech is very good).
