Hi all.
I have a customer's Dell Latitude 100L that acts like it is restarting over
and over. The power and HDD LEDs flash on and the processor fan kicks on,
but only for a second. Then it turns back off for a second, then back on,
etc. The customer's complaint was a broken power jack, which I replaced.
Does anyone have an idea or experienced this themselves? Thanks in advance!

Try pulling the battery and boot with just AC power, if it boots it's a bad
battery. Not sure if that battery has the test lights on it but the CPi
units have 5 lights and a test button that do a self test on the battery.
Anything but all lights solid green indicates a problem. It should powerup
wiht just AC though, then replace the battery with new
