[Eudora and Mail] Importing e-mail into Mail ?
After many years using Eudora, I think it is time to switch. Eudora is
corrupting its mailboxes, old messages tend to mix up and become unreadable.
This is unfortunate as otherwise Eudora does the right things for me.
So the questions are :
- which e-mail app do you recommend (on a PowerBook G4/667, 10.4.10) ?
- I am currently trying Mail; succeeded in importing the Eudora
mailboxes except the Inbox (1GB) -> how do I import it ???
Try Eudora Mailbox Cleaner.
Worked perfectly for me.

I need to transfer Eudors mail from one computer to another. Sometimes
from my Powerbook 3400c/8.6/Eudora light to my PM 7200/8.6/Eudora Light,
sometimes between Mac computers when I am upgrading to a 'new' computer.
Is there an easy way way to transfer individual e-mails or the complete
file between computers, preferably using zip disks?

Good morning/evening everyone !
I am a french user of Eudora, and I encounter this problem : I precedently
used Eudora on a Windows plateform ; and now I have bought a Macintosh (^-^)
and I would want to recover my mail archives on the Macintosh. Is there a
way to import these archives from the Eudora version which is installed on
Windows, to the Mac Version ?
Thank you for your help (and sorry, really, for my very bad english :/ )

All my correspondence is in my mail folders in an old version of Pegasus. I
got a new pc running Windows XP and installed the old hard drive containing
all my files as a second drive, but I can't find out how to transfer or
import my mail folders into Pegasus V4. Suggestions appreciated.
I have recently gone thru the same exercise. Though my older version
of Pegasus was not markedly older. I would think twice - or more -
about doing this starting with a '3' version of Pegasus for example!
In my case, I have Pegasus in C:\Prgram Files & the actual mail data

I'm using Eudora 6 and Windows XP.
I've done all the regular stuff to make Eudora the default mailer in

says "Select Eudora as default mailer?" I've clicked all the right

In Eudora each message seems to have a file-path which points to the

My ISP recently switched over to using Windows Live to handle their
email, meaning that I had to change my email settings for both

Here is what they told me to use:

Trying to get all my Windows Eudora v7.1 email folders/mailboxes converted

Does anyone have a step-by-step solution that they know works?
Also - in the Windows version, the mailbox/folder list docks on the left

Last July, a lady friend asked me to get her Eudora set up with her new
Comcast internet service account. This was a piece of cake, because I was
already using Eudora 7 on Comcast, although my operating system was XP and
she has Win7. But all the settings I used for my own setup worked for her,
and away she went.
Later, however, everything quit working. Eudora gets refused by Comcast
both for checking and sending email with an "authentication refused" error
message. I've since moved and no longer use Comcast, but I kept careful
