Hi, the scenario: MX running sendmail and delivering all accepted mails to an internal mail server. This internal server has a mailbox where only certain senders are allowed to send. Now, if a spammer comes, the sendmail accepts the mail (since the recipient is valid) but cannot deliver the mail to the internal host and thus creates a bounce message. I know about FEATURE(compat_check) - but I need it the other way around: *all* mails to email@example.com shall be rejected, *except* mails from firstname.lastname@example.org. Is there a way to achieve this? Thank you, Rainer

Write your own rules... shouldnt' be too complicated. For example, take a look at http://www.sendmail.org/~ca/email/protected.html (and check_compat itself of course) to see how something like that can be done. -- Note: please read the netiquette before posting. I will almost never reply to top-postings which include a full copy of the previous article(s) at the end because it's annoying, shows that the poster is too lazy to trim his article, and it's wasting the time of all readers.
