I have a Creative Labs Prodikeys DM keyboard (yes, I know it's a toy,
but it comes in handy) and lately it isn't recognized as a MIDI input
by any of my sequencing and other software.
I haven't changed anything in my MIDI setup.
I've checked the Prodikeys help files, website, etc. as well as
various forums including Google groups.
I have several related questions:
What could have changed that would explain this? Where should I be
looking for changes?
When does the MIDI driver load during boot-up? Is it a service that
loads with Windows, or a program that runs at startup, or a .dll that
gets loaded some other way?
Is there a way to force the driver to load after startup, so that the
software will then see the keyboard?
My soundcard is a Creative Audigy 2ZS.
Any and all help would be apprectiated.
Thanks
