page turning (MIDI) music stand?

Does anyone know of a page turning music stand, driven by MIDI (i.e. with a
pedal that flips the music)?

I've seen electronic ones in the past, but they require scanning the music
and reading from an LCD type screen, which seems bad (difficulty in making
fingering/articulation notes and eye strain)...anyone know a website for one
of these?

I found this on the web: http://netinstruments.com/a.php?a=27531

There's an incredibly long page here http://tinyurl.com/3e6jt covering
all kinds of aids for people with disabilities, and some of the
gadgets listed could no doubt be adapted, as they use voice-control,
tongue control or even breath 'puff' control tro operate them!

I have seen one demonstrated on TV recently. It uses a magnetic arm
to flip the sheets. It is not MIDI, but is activated by a pedal.

Presumably there's no particular reason for the operating pedal to be
midi?

Practically speaking, considering the variety of forms and physical
conditions written music arrives in, maybe a photo-copier and scotch
tape would be more use. I can cope with most requirements by pasting
up pages, sometimes in fan-fold, sometimes in chunks that can be
"thrown away". Another good trick (if playing piano) is to carry a
lump of Blu-tack. It's surprising how many pages can be mounted on
the front of a piano ;-)
