There are two kinds of registers available at a time to the processor. =
Working data registers and control registers. Working data registers =
ahve the 24 windowed and global registers. The psr and other similiar =
registers form the control and status registers.

help with PSR 450 Does anybody know if the Yamaha PSR 450 has the ability to loop
sequenced patterns or sections of a song so I can arrange the track?
The manual doesn't say and by reading it gives me the impression I have
to secquence every track from begginning to end on the song without
being able to copy and pasting sections.
Where can I get more info than the manual?
Unless they changed the scheme of things on the 540, I believe you can
loop. Just stop the recording of a track without pressing the end key.
If this is like some of the early versions, it will record any key or

I own a PSR-730 too, and it's not a synth, it's a portable keyboard.
Difference is, it can't be programmed to an extent which would
justify it calling a synth.
Higher resolution video card for UMAX S900 Does anyone know of a higher resolution video card that would work in a
UMAX S900 that would result in something roughly near a 1400 x 900
resolution for a widescreen Viewsonic LCD display?

Yamaha PSR-E313 : accessing flash memory with linux Hi,
Recently I got a music keyboard Yamaha PSR-E313. It has an onboard flash
memory for storing user MIDI data, 99 songs maximum. According to the
manual, these data can only be written from a PC via a MIDI connection
using a special Windows program called MusicSoft Downloader. The problem
is that I have no Windows but only Debian (etch) linux on my home PC.
Debian works quite well with my PSR except for it cannot access this flash
memory. I tried to run Downloader in wine but it didn't work out :-(
Could someone tell me whether it is possible to write data to PSR's flash
Sending midi songs to PC from Yamaha PSR-290 keyboard? Hi
We have a Yamaha PSR-290 keyboard, and have just bought a UX16 midi
interface which I naively thought would make it easy to transfer midi
files to and from the keyboard and PC (notably, recording songs played
on the keyboard to memory, and then sending them to the PC for storage.
Yamaha's Songfiler utility seems to make it easy to send midi files
from PC -> keyboard, but not in the other direction AFAICS.
Surely that can't be right?
Anyone using this keyboard managed to solve it?
