S: Tool to convert cubase ARR to MIDI or any other free format

  • Follow

Hello,

since I switched 100% to free audio software,
I need to find a way to convert some of my early
productions that I stored in cubase 2.0 ARR format
into worldwide readable formats.

Is there any ARR2MID converter out there?

With kind regards
Ralf.

P.S.: This example shows that you get dependent
to companies, hardware, and operating systems
when using propriate software.

If you had soundforge xp, or maybe soundforge, you could just play the
flie in cubase, and record it into soundforge, and end up with a wave
file, that you could then make an mp3.

You might also try doing that with some of the mp3 recorders, and see
if they can record the audio. Also check the mixer for recording
source, if there is a what you hear option, pick it

I think you could also just load in the files with cubase, and re-save
them as midi files..
get a free mp3 recorder at www.musicmatch.com

Thanks, I actually managed to run Cubase VST 3.x Demo version under
Linux (using WinE) and thus to export those tunes as MIDI file!
