BearingPoints Public Services Oracle Solutions Group is currently searching for an experienced Oracle Apps Financial Functional Consultant.

Work with the client and integrator teams in performing support for an Oracle Federal Financial Applications implementation, focusing on the acquire to retire cycle including Oracle modules Fixed Assets and General Ledger with familiarity with upstream source modules (purchasing, accounts payable and project accounting). Job duties include efforts to: • Advise, assist, and support financial systems implementation projects, which include, but are not limited to requirements development, accounting flows, gap analysis, acceptance criteria, and testing. • Assist in development action plans for system-based approaches to reduce complexity and ensure proper accounting/reporting and life-cycle tracking of associated milestones. • Advise and assist in the review of business processes, policies and procedures in relation to requirements and recommended re-engineering efforts. • Assist in the development of management decision papers for business process changes or re-engineering efforts, which will also identify the pros and cons of the new processes, roles, and responsibilities, versus the current processes, roles, and responsibilities Required Skills: * 3-5 years of experience in an Oracle Financial Applications environment with recent full life cycle implementation experience in Oracle release 11i * 3-5 years of experience of Oracle Applications functionality. * Strong analytical and problem solving skills. * Ability to analyze users business processes and needs, and convey a vision for improving their business in the context of employing Oracle Applications, through the addition of reports, queries, tools. * Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills, which demonstrates confidence and fosters a Trusted Advisor relationship with the client. * REQUIRE US CITIZENSHIP Local candidates preferred.
