Bailo, what's up with the Japanese haiku and all this Japan stuff? Did you
score some bad sushi recently?

Actually, it's extremely _good_ sushi.
I and my cohorts are regulars at Kuine Sushi in downtown Kent.
I have eaten at Nikko's and elsewhere.
But our chef, Katzu, is the best! It only sits 6 at the bar, and there
are few tables...but if you love sushi, Kuine is the best!

ps. that's not Japanese Haiku ( althought maybe it is) but the opening
verse from 'I am the Walrus' by John Lennon, you cultural-retard. Of
course, it was 1967, so I guess Yoko's influence was showing.

It's "not Japanese Haiku" but "maybe it is"?
Well, I wasn't around when the Beatles were charting, so I'm not well-versed
with '60s pop.
I am well-versed on good sushi, though, and your dinner sounded great. Wash
it down with a little sake or Kirin and you've got a nice meal.
Now, here's some haiku for you:
At the over-matured sushi,
The Master
Is full of regret.
Pressing Sushi;
After a while,
A lonely feeling
A whale!
Down it goes, and more and more
up goes its tail!
-- Buson, Yosa. (1716-84).
