Agreed. They also don't like their posts contested in any way.
It can therefore be concluded that they're just spouting off.

linuxfucks? Pray tell define a linuxfuck please?

I advocate Linux and have never *plonked* anyone no matter how
annoying or how opposed to their view I am.

I use Linux almost exclusively at home booting into my W98 partition
to run the occassional game that I haven't got to run under Wine.

In any event if you are generalising I think that would be a mistake,
if your definition is specific enough then you may have a point.

Me too. Except now it's XP. I'm not quite sure why people rave about
XP. It has some improvements over 2K, but it also has some noticeable
ugliness to it.

Oh, I have my opinions on why people rave about XP. Perhaps
they rave about it because it has the following features:

- A veritable magnet for viruses.
- There's no place for Tubby Custard.
- And the little doggie, too.
- Rounded windows fall flat. (Mac's Aqua may look like medicine for a
bad head cold but at least it's visually interesting. :-) )
- Nice big icons. Nice waste of screen real estate.
- Oooh, look at the technological innovation of multiple workspaces!
Wait, didn't Linux do that one already? Not to mention Unix?
- Quick-Flip Multiple Login Capability. So what? Linux can
do that with some setup (it's mostly an issue of card RAM, though).
- Has Clippy been shredded yet, or did he just grow hair?
- Tabbed browsing apparently's not innovative enough for IE.
- Some hints of horror stories regarding installation of software
on older versions of Windows no longer working on XP.

Erm...maybe I should change that to "raving *at* XP"...
