If this is aimed at "the liar"...
If you live in a bucolic wasteland in a Spanish shithole and you're poor
with plenty of spare time then Linux will do the job. It certainly
beats his other pastimes of throwing spaghetti at a brick wall and
seeing how much will stick or trolling on here.

The irony is that the following are all lies:

Interesting hypotheses - how do you explain, e.g. RedHat and Novell -

Wind up dolls like this loser can only regurgitate the lies they've

Yes, I am a smart guy
Let it be news for you:
Linux is killing jobs.
Those people don't go shopping ==> more people lose incomes.
The chain reaction goes on & on.
When people pay software it's good for society if if it's bad for a few poor
folks who prefer to steal or use Linux.
I am NOT advocating expensive Windows, I am advocating work must be paid.

What do you expect from an idiot? :-)
Linux does cost admin jobs though. You need far fewer Linux admins to
admin Linux systems than Windows systems. You also need far fewer
Linux systems in general than Windows systems. These cost savings of
course mean investment can be spent where it is really needed and the
superior security and stability of Linux is a huge cost saving in
itself. The money spent (time as well as hard cash) on antivirus and
trojan protection, so often too late, is enormous. Just keeping
Windows systems up to date with the latest patches requires downtime
every month!

And Google, and IBM and HP (with their Linux servers) and all the
companies who sell devices with embedded Linux, and all the web host
companies who use Linux servers and who are growing by leaps and bounds.
Linux is taking a lot of potential money out of Microsoft's hands. Hence
the frothing and spewing in COLA. After all, what kind of insane idiot
would spew 24/7 against a product that has no users and is absolutely no
threat to anyone?
Their actions, speak louder than the words in their crazed rants.

I realize you're just trolling, but I'll answer regardlessly.
Android,Kindle, and Nook are three obvious commercial successes of
Linux. Android most of all, given the Android Marketplace and all the
different models of Android phones.

Now that there are Windows phones coming on the market, Android phones will
be falling by the side of the road.

Don't forget that many routers and Network Attached Storage devices also
use Linux.

Uh-huh. Windows phones have been on the market for the last ten years
or so (I use two of them). It took Apple <spit> and Android about 10
seconds to beat WM on the sales front.
