Linux/BSD is more pathetic than Windows? Ha. Don't make me laugh. We

Nu, faygeleh, is that the best you can do? You could at least invent a
source for your specious claim that it has been banned.
so tell me, tonto, has Deutsche Telekom AG sent its users a notice
that they must not use Linux? If not, why not? If so, feel free to
post a copy.

I generally don't throw bread at the trolls, but I gotta in this case.
Here are my requirements for an OS:
1) Stability
2) Cost efficient
3) Not locked into how someone else THINKS my computer should work
4) Customizable
5) Portable
6) Easy to use
7) Did I say Stability?
Other then #6 above, Windows DOES NOT fit these characteristics. It's
unstable, NOT cost efficient, crashes too much, too many errors for NO
REASON, plus I don't like the OS telling me what I can and can't do.
When I tell a program to close, I don't want to be told it's being
'debugged'... just CLOSE the freakin' program. Anyway, Windows is
just way too unstable and crappy to touch my hard drive.

It would be better if you had formatted your paragraph properly when
commenting on his construction skills, no?

Ok, I'm going to shift the focus here off Linux onto my pet, FreeBSD.
Now, let's go down the hit list, shall we?

Really? Then why am I limited to three different color schems in WinXPs
new interface? They are Blue, Olive Green, and Silver. Both Linux AND
FreeBSD are superior in this in I can have, what, 8, 9, or more window
managers? Each with a different feel, different features, etc.? All
which can be running AT THE SAME TIME? The only thing that I see in
Windows is explorer.exe which dies on a regular basis.

I don't see Windows running on Alpha, PowerPC, Big Iron, Sparc, etc
platforms. Only Intel, and maybe Itainium, but that's Intel also. Even
FreeBSD has PowerPC, Alpha, IA32, IA64, and Sparc platforms. You lose
again, moron.

Far be it for me to concede a point to a wintroll, but Windows is easy
to use. But, that is its only strength. Because if it wasn't, we
wouldn't have wintrolls/winfaggots like you roaming the internet because
you would still be trying to figure out how to get your modem to dial out.

Don't know about Linux, but *BSD machines OWN the netcraft uptime page:
http://uptime.netcraft.com/up/today/top.avg.html In fact, of the top 50
sites, Um...all 50 are one version or another of BSD, whether it be the
commercial BSD/OS or FreeBSD.
Ok, Mr. Linux Sucks, I want to hear something intelligent from you. If
you respond with something moronic as 'Idiot' or some such bullshit, I'm
plonking you. You have been given fair warning.
Oh, and here's a head start: http://www.freebsd.org
And if you want CD images:
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ISO-IMAGES-i386/4.9/ for 4.9-RELEASE
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ISO-IMAGES-i386/5.1/ for 5.1-RELEASE
I'd recommend the 4.9-RELEASE for now though, 5.1 is still beta and is
not ready for primetime until 5.2 or 5.3.

Linux has messed up a bunch of CD drives and it seems to delete the
Windows partitions during installation. That is probably one of the
many reasons why less than 1% of the world's computer users care for
Linux. Nobody seems to want it, even at no cost. You get what you pay
for.

Do not confuse familiarity with ease of use. The ergonomics of windoze
are appalling.

Please, tonto, come up with a new lie; that one has been overused. The
fact is that windoze is the one that removes competing operating
systems. Linux coexists quite nicely with other systems.

That lie, also, has been over used. If you want to be amusing you must
come of with creative idiocy, not recycle the same old discredited BS.

talking about have no semblence of logical thought anyways...

Sure: "Linux has been banned."
Or, even better: "Linux".

Well, I was hoping to elicit a response from SDM but apparently
he's a drive-by yahoo poster. :-)

True. Unless this is it, in which case I'd have to wonder.
