Rex Ballard, the bullshitter! Rex Ballard is a habitual liar and the biggest lying fraud on the Internet.
His master degree:

Rex Ballard; Reverse Troll ? Is this person some kind of reverse troll who pretends to like Linux
but whose motive is in fact to discredit Linux? After pondering some of
his musings I come to conclusion that Mr. Ballard is either making all
of this up or is in need of some seriously aggressive psychological
treatment. After reading his CV I did an internet google search and came
up with a link that seems to indicate that Mr. Ballard is employed by
ibm. If that is the case it gives new meaning to the phrase "this is
not your father's ibm"

I'd "make him happy". He wanted oral sex from me. I really wanted to get a chance with this bar

Rex Ballard and Linux are All Dressed Up with no place to go. Linux and Rex have a lot in common.
Linux is Unix with cheap lipstick and
some window dressing on.
Rex is cheap skirts with lipstick troweled on.
But under the skin/dress what you see with Linux or Rexx
is not what you really get.
Neither are as advertised.

Both have to, because nobody would pay money for either one.

Multiple actions through a single form action I have a couple of scripts: acme1.php and acme2.php
I have a form, that will execute one at a time:

How can I make it execute both, with a single button click?

reduce actions vs shift actions I'm looking towards replacing an extant parser system with something
more formal - to hopefully detect parsing issues are parser build time,
rather than trying to debug misparsed code.
The current tool is similar to a NFA, with lots of embedded actions.
>From the size, and scope of the grammar, I am very confident that
converting the grammar to LALR would be a disaster, many reduce-reduce
conflicts created by the embedded actions (due to the hidden reductions
generated by tools like YACC).
I've seen references to parser generators that can properly support
shift actions - I guess ...

How about it, Rex? On your website http://www.open4success.org/bio/Auto08.html you said:
"They [Microsoft] spent 18 hours pumping me for design ideas for Windows
2000 and then withdrew their offer (which I wasn't going to accept anyway).
They said I didn't have the "Microsoft Religion". But they incorporated
about 20 of the 30 reccomendations I proposed."
Which ideas of yours were incorporated into Win2K?

trap "action; exit" signals = trap "action" exit? I would like to know your opinion whether
(1) trap "action; exit" signals
is equivalent with
(2) trap "action" exit
With exit trap, upon receiving a signal, the default behavior
is exit, then action is executed. So I prefer to use (2), but
did I miss anything? Is there a reason to use (1)? Thanks.

I there a have a complex problem in my project: I have:1 Action1 Form1 JSP ---> all the three of them must handle 5 or 6 "Views" . Myproblem is the "Back" button that allows you to go back in theprevious state. The Problem is:when I did already did 3 steps in one "pseudo" direction, changin astate. Scaling an action I found some time ago an action called "Bill's oil painting"- it was
dated 2003- and I ran it recently and it does a great job on relatively
small images, say 600 x800, but not on those larger, say 2000x3000. Are
there any rules of thumb as to how to scale up an action?
Or are there scaleable actions I might try - or a type of painterly
action that'd work well on larger, and a recommendation as to the best
site to find such? (I have posted to one of the Adobe forums, but no reply.)

Rivet in Action This is neat:
Seems to be in Houston, so maybe it's Karl or Damon?:-)
Found via reddit.com
BTW - I talked with the developers of this site. They found Rivet to
be VERY handy. Imagine the complexity of trying to tie together a
system like this - pretty amazing.
It's actually Karl and Daniel Baker. It's pretty amazing what they've
done too. With Rivet, there are no limits. 0-]
Yes -Ttotally and completely amazing... Nice JOB!!!
This would make a nice presentation at some point to articulate the

Action problem hi,
i wanted to do a light from behind effect with photoshop. the effect
would look like if a text was placed in front of a spotlight and you were
looking at it with a front view. the effect is done by using noise and
radial blur and then changing the hue and saturation. the problem is that i
have to do the same effect for some about 24 to 30 different text which will
hopefully be used in a book. after the 7th effect it becomes a bit too
repetitive to do the same steps again and again. so i went to record it in
an actions set. the problem is that when i record it, photoshop records the...
