Now how can Microsoft beat a free, stable, reliable operating system
like that?

Why do people punish themselves with garbage like Ubuntu Linux?

It has to be some kind of self inflicted pain that they crave.

$ uptime
 08:54:24 up 39 days, 23:48,  3 users,  load average: 0.47, 0.78, 0.78

Yeah - how?

Raytard, please stop humiliating yourself. Browsing
http://www.bbc.co.uk/gardening/ and playing online bridge on a 10 year
old machine is hardly pushing it ....

ps Are you all aware that at least one distro, if not all, counts the
time "suspended" as "uptime"? .....

11:54:30 up 30 days,  2:03,  2 users,  load average: 0.17, 0.04, 0.01

Seems a bit short to me. Surely it wasn't the Debian "grub incident"?

Prove you just didn't dummy that up with a text editor.

Mine is even bigger. :P currently 44 days. Programming, playing a lot of
games etc...

Sometimes I kill my X but that is when I do stupid things to try my
computer resistance. It restarts in seconds anyway.

Distro... ArchLinux, two years installed. :)
