Redmond goes on a 'myth-busting tour'
Microsoft has launched its 'Get the Facts' road show .. to .. convince
the wavering that Redmond is as at least cheap and as secure as its
open-source rival.
Nick McGrath .. described the campaign as "a reality check we're
bringing out", aiming to tackle the "myths" surrounding Linux.

That's why there are a bunch of viruses cropping up every day: the
marketplace isn't educated, and MICROS~1 just isn't getting their
message heard.
Yep. If they successfully 'educate the marketplace' all of the virus
and worm authors will just go away because WinDoze will magically
become much more secure.

MS could solve all their problems tomorrow regarding security and
stability and I wouldn't use them more than I have to now because for
years they fed me cow shit and told me it was cake.

Because "educating the marketplace" (read: Virus writers are the reason your
machines get infected every other day, not our sloppy... umm.. complex
coding practices) is the key to security and not writing secure code.
