frequency of interest is 2 kHz, why not use a bandpass filter? If the SNR is high, how about an envelope detector? John >> Can someone tell me the best way to do this Or then if we are concerned about efficiency - Downconvert to complex baseband by multiplication wit exp(-i*2*pi*t*2000), t in seconds - Use appropriate lowpass filters on real/imaginary part, matched to th pulse envelope (probably ideal lowpass if it's rectangular) - Take I^2+Q^2 and compare to threshold -mn Yes, efficiency is my concern here, so I worry about the FFT Correlation. I like the idea of using filters either the band pass or downconvert with low pass filter. Unfortunately I am not savvy anough to understand fully what you are suggesting, I am probably a little out of my depth: _what is an envelope detector, is there something I can read about for this? "Downconvert to complex baseband by multiplication with exp(-i*2*pi*t*2000), t in seconds" Are you saying multiply each data point by exp(...)? How does this give me real and imaginary parts? - Use appropriate lowpass filters on real/imaginary part, matched to the pulse envelope (probably ideal lowpass if it's rectangular

If you're talking about printing from the browser, that is handled by the browser itself, possibly with a client-side script such as javascript. PHP is server side - if you were to print from PHP you would print to your server's printer, n

Friends, I am a newbie in sql programming, I don't know much about the programming. I 've tried to make a trigger but it failed. Where can I learn about it and rather free for payments. ( Sorry about that statement, cause it rather expensive for my revenue) -- Message posted via http://www.sqlmonster.com Try to learn it in BOL Madhivanan In case you are not aware... BOL = Books Online, which is the help that comes with the SQL Server client utilities. You can also get a lot of information from Microsoft's website (www.microsoft.com). If you have specific questions, then yo

Participants, Does anyone have the intermittent problem when using the Find and Replace capability. garbage collector #2 #2
Hi, I'm looking for a good garbage collector for C++. However, I have some constraints: In my particular application, memory fragmentation could become a real problem. Thereby, the garbage collector would need to have some support for being able to move objects around, and would preferably support generational and some form of copying garbage collection. This implies that the objects may need to be using some kind of smart pointers to manage this properly. Other things that are important would be: * delivers commercial grade high performance (eg, could compare to be as efficient a

regex help #2 #2
Regex questions seem to be rather resistant to googling. My regex currently looks like - 'FOO:.*\n\n' The chunk of text I am attempting to locate is a line beginning with "FOO:", followed by an unknown number of lines, terminating with a blank line. Clearly the ".*" phrase does not match the single newlines occuring inside the block. Suggestions are warmly welcomed. jeff sacksteder wrote: > Regex questions seem to be rather resistant to googling. > > My regex currently looks like - 'FOO:.*\n\n' > > The chunk of text I am attempting to lo
