Hello group,
i use an ibm/lenovo thinkpad R60, with Dual T5600 Intel (1,83Ghz).
I find that under XP i can get battery-runtime up about 10 to 25 %
when using CrystalCpuId and reducing cpu/multiplicator and voltage .
Neither kernelspace nor usercontrolled powersavedaemons in Linux
( suse 10.3) get me this mileage.
Is there any program like CrystalCpuId for Linux?
Anybody looked into doing it her/himself already?
Can anybody point me to c or c++ libraries and documentation for
programming a little ( might be just console , not GU interface ) tool
for myself?
regards
patrick
