Is there a script to show random URL address?
Hi, I am using a pay-through service that allows a user to access a specific page on my website. Let's call the page www.mywebsite.com/content.htm. Since content is changing on this page, I want to charge users every time they access it. However, once they get there the first time, all they have to do is bookmark the page and they can then access it directly without going to my pay-through page. How can I force www.mywebsite.com/content.htm to show something like www.mywebsite.com/KR%TV.htm in the address bar and as a bookmark and have those characters change randomly everytime the site i...

Accessing a url via IP address is very slow.
hello guys, here is a strange things. I have a URL eg: http://70.20.19.111/asp/main.aspx when I use the url with IP the access is really slow. But when I use the name instead of IP address in URL it is blazing fast and works. eg: http://test.test.com/asp/main.aspx I am confused why is this happening. I would think IP based access should be faster. (all the ip and URLs here are not real ones) thanks RTR On Sep 18, 6:06 pm, RTR <bha...@gmail.com> wrote: > hello guys, > > here is a strange things. Hi All, I am writing a program that tests the health of a NIC card. I am creating a NDD socket (Data Link Access) which I will use to send ICMP ECHO packets to a given host. This means that my application has to build the entire packet and I have to create and add the IP/IPv6, ICMP/ 6, and MAC headers in my application. I got things to work for IP, but I am stuck with IPv6: 1) How do I find the MAC address for an IPv6 remote host? For IP, I use the SIOCGARP ioctl and get the MAC adress from the ARP cache. But IPv6 does not use ARP. there is something called neighbor discovery for IPv6, but I...

Hello, I wonder if there is anything like \urlcommand{text} {NameOfTheFile.pdf} to open a pdf file in the browser.. \url{NameOfTheFile.pdf} does the job. But what I really want is a text to be seen by the reader. The problem with \href{text} {NameOfTheFile.pdf} is that the file NameOfTheFile.pdf overrides the original file containing the link. How exactly does the address translate to an OCM address? I can't really find anything solid on the matter and I looked at the values of the DSARC register and but I couldn't really find any connection between that value and my CPU OCM addresses. I know the upper 8 bits are not used, bit I didn't understand why the lower 2 bits are discarded, is this for 32 bit alignment? Thanks in advance Jim ...

Like everyone here, I'm an old Eudora fan, but this small problem has bugged me for some time; it's time I found out why this problem occurs. I'll be adding several names to a post and as I'm entering the email address to the TO: line, I might realize someones name is incorrect or not a name I intended to include in my message. I highlight (select) the name and press Delete; the reply from Eudora is - "Do you want to remove this name from your Eudora address book?" I've ignored this for years and simply restart what I was doing to correct the issue. ...
