Of course it uses the same hardware, among _lots_ of other hardware.
Debian runs on how many, 13 architectures? And the kernel runs on most
things that have some electricity inside.
I always find this kind of unbeleavable. Linux runs on anything, and runs
well. OK, that's one thing. But the Macs run superbly on Apple hardware,
because that's what they're supposed to do. Windows is supposed to run on
a "PC" but doesn't. They should narrow this down to "Compaq PC's" or "Dell
PC's" or something that they can make a believable promise on.
