hi all,
I am currently looking for the Input Method Library(AIX)
equivalent on Linux. And I am engaged in the porting
work from AIX to Linux. The Input Method is a set of subroutines that
translate key strokes into character strings in the code set specified
by a locale. The Input Method subroutines include logic for
locale-specific input processing and keyboard controls (for example,
Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Lock, and Alt-Graphic). The following link gives more
information for the Input Method Library,
http://www.rz.uni-hohenheim.de/betriebssysteme/unix/aix/aix_4.3.3_doc/base_doc/usr/share/man/info/en_US/a_doc_lib/aixprggd/genprogc/ls_input_subr.htm#rRK170bob
Please somebody suggest any equivalent package available for
Linux. Or any other work around in the Linux Library itself.
