VMware Fusion for Win/Lin?

  • Follow

I used VMware workstation awhile back and liked it well enough but was
not necessarily sold on it but just recently I saw a demo of VMware
Fusion (Mac/AltOS) and was floored. With VMware Fusion using windows
was just like using another application within Mac and the copy/cut
paste between OSes etc was pretty nifty.

Like I mentioned, its been awhile since I have used VMware workstation
so I wanted to ask if it was able to work like Fusion (seamlessly)
between Windows XP and Linux? Any input would really be appreciated!

Cheers

VMware Server allows you to cut and paste between Windows and Linux
applications. It's one deficiency is that you have to access Linux
directories via SAMBA instead of being able to mount them as Windows
disks.
