I have a NetGear wireless network set up at home. How do I get Linux to
recognize the adapters and work across the network?
Thx

See the wireless-howto for instructions and a list of supported
devices.

When you say you have a Netgear wireless network what do you mean? Netgear
WAP connected to something, Modem/router/WAP box like DG824/834? What type
of adaptor have you in the linux box? Try posting output of lspci to see
what chipset the adaptor has. Depending on the answer to these questions
will be the difference between a walk in the park and the loss of all
hair.
