Hello James,
I have SuSE 9.1 Pro on my Thinkpad T23. No problems whatsoever.
The installer found the Lucent WinModem, Cisco Aironet 350 PCMCIA wireless
card, Savage gfx, etc, everything first time. The laptop power saving
features like battery status all work as expected, and my problem with the
Thinkpad Fn key has gone away.
As you may or may not know, the wireless support for the cisco 350 series
was broken in SuSE 9.0. I can confirm that it works perfectly in 9.1
out-of-the-box (the main reason why I wanted to upgrade). I realise you may
not be interested in WiFi support, but I mention it here for the benefit of
other readers of this newsgroup.
Michael.

Aaaaargh!
Argh!
Argh.
I put one in one last night, and was wondering why it was not useful.
Pox.
Is it feasible to update the WIFI parts of 9.0.to the ones from 9.1 in which
case if anyone had a list of RPMs involved to hand, sight of it would be
beneficial and appreciated, or does the panel have other suggestions?
Preferably short of moving to 9.1 altogether.
