Windows 2000 Network Drive reconnect

  • Follow

Hello all!

I have a Windows 2000 Server SP4 that has 3 network drives connected. Two of
them are connected over VPNs.
My problem is that the VPN network drives are shown as 'disconnected' in the
explorer after a while, which causes some programs to fail.
Is there a way to keep them connected, or to check for connectivity and
reconnect them automatically?

Google couldn't turn anything up....

Thank you,
   andy

On fileservers: net config Server /autodisconnect:-1 to disable the
automatic disconnect of network drives
