I am new to DICOM.

I am writting a MFC desktop application.
I need to use DCMTK for medical image processing.

I want to know is there any proper tutorial like how to use the DCMTK
and sample code snippets availble.

I want to know how to conver DICOM file to AVI file and AVI file to
DICOM file.And how to extract the frames from the DICOM file.

I want sample code.

I see that there are tool available to do the above like "TIM" ,
"fpimage".
But I don't want to use the tools.
I have to write the application or tool to convert the DICOM to avi or
avi to DICOM.
