FLAC 1.1.1 on OS/2

Did anybody succeed in building a correctly working FLAC on OS/2? The
distribution page claims that OS/2 build is supported, but actually it
is not even close to be supported... Fixing "obvious flaws", I can
make the test scripts run, but they show subtle (?) corruption of the
sound.

Typical errors are like

  simple iterator on writable file
  creating APPLICATION block
  creating PADDING block
  is writable = 1
  [S]VP try to write over STREAMINFO block...
	      FLAC__metadata_simple_iterator_set_block() returned false
	      like it should
  [S]VP	    next
  S[V]P	    next
  SV[P] insert PADDING after, don't expand into padding
  ERROR: FLAC__metadata_simple_iterator_insert_block_after(iterator,
  padding, false)
	 status=FLAC__METADATA_SIMPLE_ITERATOR_STATUS_RENAME_ERROR
  ERROR during test_libFLAC
  FAIL: ./test_libFLAC.sh

or

  round-trip test (rt-1-2-5555.raw) encode... decode... compare... cmp: EOF on rt.raw
  ERROR: file mismatch

[The error here is that the output file is 1byte shorted than the
input...]

So: any success stories there? [I built using 2.8.2.]

Thanks,
Ilya

Hi, I have a question regarding lexical analysis. I recently came across a bug in our lexical analyser in phc (www.phpcompiler.org), that I am unsure how to solve. This is the problem: our current definition for integer constant looks something like INT ([1-9][0-9]*)|0 In particular, note that it does not allow for an (optional) "+" or "-" at the start of the integer. This means that the strings "1 - 1", "1 -1" and "1-1" all generate the same sequence of three tokens INT(1), OP(-), INT(1), for which the syntax analyser generates the subtr...

Updating Odin to Wine 1.0.1 level or port Wine 1.0.1 to OS/2?
Looking on Netlabs there does not appear to have been any activity on Odin since 2006. Meanwhile Wine has reached the 1.0.1 level and is still being developed. Would someone here consider either updating Odin to the latest Wine level or porting Wine to OS/2? I am not any where near capable of taking this on, although I have downloaded the build environment from Paul Smedley's site and built a few programs on my own. All that I have worked on has either compiled immediately in the environment or required very few very minor tweaks. I am sure that either updating Odin or porting Wine is...
