[9fans] Getting output from plot(1)

I'm writing a little script to make venti usage graphs, and now that
I'm near the end I'm trying to use plot(1) to plot my data. However, I
can't seem to figure out any way of actually getting plot's output
into something like a png file. Suggestions?
Thanks

the only output driver for plot on plan9 is /dev/draw, you can
display it and then grab the image from /dev/wsys - not so easy
from cron though.

You could use grap(1) but you can only get to ps and pdf
from there (I think).

hola,

I think gabriel diaz wrote something like what you are looking for,
it's somewhere in www.9grid.es (I can't tell where, because it's not
reachable from here.)

Dear All, I've just released the newest version of Mac Graphviz, featuring shapefile support and enhanced zoom. http://www.pixelglow.com/graphviz/ Shapefiles supported include PDF, EPS, PS, JPEG, PNG and all Quicktime formats. Either specify an absolute or relative (to working directory) file path, or a URL using the shapefile attribute. Developers can now also use the graphviz.framework directly with #include headers in C e.g. using Xcode "Add Frameworks..."; documentation is available from the main Graphviz site -- http://www.research.att.com/sw/tools/graphviz/libguide.pdf Changes ------- Added drawer and zoom menu commands [DWa, NRi]. Added intelligent window zooming [NRi]. Added shapefile support. Added UTF-8 support [RSc]. Added cvtgxl, gvpack and gvpr tools [BSw]. Fixed page setup then close unexpectedly invoking save dialog [PRo]. HTML-like labels now work on 10.2 (use embedded expat instead of libxml2). Improved internal frameworks (added headers, consolidated dylibs). Tracked main build of 23 June. Graphviz is still free, but I'm now accepting donations for it. Enjoy! I would expect programs compiled in it to run correctly for quite a few years to come. So, in summary: No worries! PL/I for MVS and VM still works great. Ah yes. "The last of the mainframe compilers...". The compilers written in PL/I (VisualAge and later) cannot produce a load module which can (correctly) be marked as RENT. Not a big issue for the programmer I suppose, but I do like that subpool 252 storage protection. To accomplish this with a waveform graph you will need to create a 2D array that gets accumulated at each iteration:<img src="http://forums.ni.com/attachments/ni/170/318515/1/Example_VI_BD4.png"> Note: I put the Transpose 2D Array function in the code since I don't remember if LabVIEW 6.1 had the "Transpose Array" option when you right-clicked on the graph.Note2: You can also use a waveform chart. [9fans] The 2-1 chord in P9Ports Acme (Mac OS)
--20cf3074b55288afa504d9b54bb3 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 As you may know, Apple has an odd stance against multi-button mice and trackpads.
