Ethernet-RS232-Box for OpenVMS on Alpha
I just found http://www.vscom.de/produkte/vs-netcom_811.html and I'm
curious if this was a solution to connect serial terminals to a Alpha
box. Any idea if this would work?

A cursory look reveals that it claims to be a terminal server. If so, then
it is hardly a new concept.

True. Things like this have been around for some time. Scrolling down
reveals that it requires a driver, and surprise, surprise, VMS doesn't
seem to be on the list of systems supported :-(. Best to just go for a
DECserver.
