EVA5000 and 300GB drive firmware (BD30058232)

They could be a different brand drive that HP has just started shipping Oftentimes you don't need to worry about firmware issues - especially if the drive looks different. There are numerous brand of disk - Fujitsu Maxtor Seagate IBM who all sell their wares to HP. It is fairly common for new firmware to make it to new hardware before the same firmware is released on the HP web for customers to find. If you've found the HP web page with the older firmware, and the newer firmware isn't there, it's a fairly safe bet that the newer firmware isn't available yet. Is there a particular concern here?
