Misc hardware for sale

Looking for a good home for the following hardware:

Desktop TK50
Desktop DLT06 tape drive
BA353 (3 disk) expansion box + disks
1 complete AXP Multia (works well with the BA353)
1 AXP Multia for parts (but could be made to work)
Miscellaneous Multia parts

I don't want the world for these, but I would like to get a reasonable
price. If interested, contact me at 71machone@gmail.com

Thanks!

Upgrading VMS on a system where hardware is newer than the system disk OS supports
Here's a new one for us. I've never had this come up, and I can't do a test run due to lack of hardware. We have a customer with a DS10 running V7.2-1. They're going to upgrade to a DS15, which has a minimum VMS requirement of V7.3-1 (plus TIMA). There is a miniscule downtime window. Since doing a V7.2-1 upgrade to V7.3-1 or newer on the DS10 is not feasible due to time, I'm wondering if the following is supported. Image backup the DS10 disks to tape, then restore on the DS15 disks using the CD boot environment. We won't try to boot the DS15 on the V7.2-1 system ...

RE: Upgrading VMS on a system where hardware is newer than the system disk OS supports
Rich, Been there done that exactly as you said. Had a similar situation with an AS2100 and a new DS25. V7.2-2 OS which I wanted to clone for a new DS25 test system running V7.3-1. Image backed up the old V7.2-2 system pack, restored the drive via a network connection, then booted the DS25 off the V7.3-1 CD and told it to upgrade the restored system disk. No problems; worked like a charm. iSeries OS Hardware/OS Upgrade
If this is not the correct I apologize up front. Our company is doing a Hardware/OS Upgrade on our AS400 this weekend and I wanted to get a feel on the approach that is being taken. We are planning on going from an 810 with v5r2 on it to a 550 with v5r4, we are moving existing cards in the 810 to the 550 as well as the 5074 Tower and then restoring from a SAVE21 on the 810 to teh 550. Is this feasible or would there be a better approach. We are unable to upgrade the exisintg 810 to v5r4 first due to the disk configuration of the system which is not supported by v5r4 for the load source. So w...
