can't open winpm32(4.0.2.0) - lost username

I'm being surprised by a splash screens asking for username. I've tried
every possible name but I'm being told there's no such username on the
system. I've checked online FAQs, Pegasus help files, and my W2k Registery
for info. Have I lost all my email info? Please help.
Thanks

Look in all pmail.ini files for something like:

[Pegasus Mail for Windows - Run Info]
Program version = V4.12a (Win32), Jun 19 2003
Language resources = Standard UK English resource set
Time and date run ended = Tue, 09 Sep 2003 00:03:16
Running in standalone mode? = Y
Internal username = xxxxxxxx

xxxxxxxx will be a username

Thanks Evertjan,
I tried that but it didn't work. The line reads:
 Internal username = Single-user mode

You can try to delete PMAIL.CFG then open pegasus and select single user and the
password problem should be fixed.

Hello 1) I'm running W2k on PC called A ( it's not really named A, but for the sake of argument ...) and if my routing table has ( destionation )0.0.0.0 ( netmask )255.0.0.0 ( gateway )192.168.2.1 instead of ( destionation )0.0.0.0 (netmask)0.0.0.0 (gateway)192.168.2.1 then I can't get on internet. I know address 0.0.0.0 basically means "send the packet on internet", but why needs netmask be 0.0.0.0? Afterall, all that netmask 255.0.0.0 should tell A is that destination address is not on the same network as A is, and thus should send it to d...

Did someone succed to run Apache 2.0.48 / mod_jk2 (2.0.2) /Tomcat 4 on Solaris 9? Does someone manage to make this work with a mod_jk2 (2.0.2)? I just get a lot of "Can't find child ... in scoreboard" (looks like <http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=19044>). It seems to me that Apache launches its children processes and its modules concurrently; I once got a child process finish to configure after mod_jk2, and it went recognized (in the log: first a bunch of "jk2_init() Can't find child 20363 in scoreboard; workerEnv.init() ok /usr/local/httpd-2....

Can't get PCI Network Card to Work
Hello, I have an IBM Pentium III 663MHz PC (desktop) which I've been trying to get a Linux Distro to work on with Networking successfully. I know it can be done, because this box has been loaded with an early version of Redhat and operated as a web server. I wanted to start fresh so I wiped the system clean with Redhat 8 - which was able to come up quickly and correctly detect the network card that was installed. However it could not "initialize" the card. I knew that Redhat 8 had some issues, so I installed Redhat 7.2. The results were the same. So know I've ...

3*x''+(10^-3)*x'+123*x=2*cos(3*t); x=x(t);initial conditions x(0)=0 and x'(0)=0
Hi everybody, I need to solve the Cauchy problem written in the title box ( I paste it here again ): 3*x''+(10^-3)*x'+123*x=2*cos(3*t); x=x(t);initial conditions x(0)=0 and x'(0)=0. I tried with Runge-Kutta method and it seems to work as the solution x(t) is the same that I can get solving the equation by myself. I need to know if it would be better another method (eventually multistep one) and why it would be better (please don't just tell me 'cause it's faster or so...I need to know the why too). As last thing I need to estimate the error committed with Runge...

Can't connect to X11 window server using 'localhost:0.0'
Hi. I'm using sendmail 8.12.9 for a project on RedHat Fedora Core 2 on my personal computer with a perfectly finctioning X window server. Part of this project requires me to modify sendmail to open a gui application. When I attempted this originally, I got the following error: "No X11 DISPLAY variable was set, but this program performed an operation which requires it." Figuring that sendmail for whatever reason unset it, I added called setenv() to set it and got the following error: "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.InternalError: Can't connect to X11 wind...

I choose /usr/X11R6/bin as the path and some files are shown in the dialog, but most are not. There are 9 files displayed in the dialog while there are about 250 files in the directory. Also the permissions are not shown properly. There seem to be only the user permissions displayed instead of all the permissions. I checked the permissions from the files that are shown, but they are no different then from the other files. { wxString pat...
