Adaptec ASH-1233 Help

  • Follow

I flashed Adaptec's proprietary bios with Silicon Images and now I was
wondering if someone could help me restore the original bios the card
came with.

It's an UltraATA 133 controller.

Adaptec is about as useless as a pylon. Their support is really bad.
Money money money, that's all they want. I will never touch their
products with a ten foot pole. LSI, yes. Symbios, yes.

My current company blacklist:
Adaptec for greedy tech support
US Robotics for rude tech support

Thanks if anyone here can help

Why did you do that?

Is the card under warranty? If so, say it's broken/ made smoke has burned
chips and send it back.

It's easier to say a product is 100% dead than run bullshit tests all day
and having to deal with stupid stall tactics from the supplier.

Sadly, for dell business workstation support, I found it easier to say
that every machine "wouldn't power on at all" instead of having to explain
that a CDrom wouldn't eject anymore, or a hard disk was bad and to just
send the parts, which they would fight over doing without running stupid
diagnostics.

You can get those retarded adaptec service codes for support that only
come on the box and a sticker from their website now, using the product
serial.
