I have an old system with 2 SCSI CDROMS and an SC875 controller with
bios 4.16.
When I had a SCSI hd installed and the MB BIOS set to boot SCSI first.
it used to boot not only from the HD, but from either CD if a bootable
CD was loaded.
I removed the HD and now it won't boot from either SCSI CD. The MB
bios still is set to boot SCSI first..
I changed the SCSI addr of one of the CDROMs to 0 , but no go.
Is booting from SCSI cd not possible if there is no bootable SCSI HD
present?
