Me = Associates degree in CS, 4 years total work experience (not
counting school internships, work-study, etc...). 1 year as a SQL
Server query b*tch, 1.5 years as a Junior .NET Developer, half-a-year
as a .NET Developer, and 1 year as a Lead .NET Developer now.
My rapid progression was a lot of hard work on my part and a lot of
luck. But while I'm fairly satisfied with my job, I'd like to expand
beyond into another arena. After some research it seems as if Systems
Analysis (or possibly some other "big picture" function that I haven't
thought of) is more up my alley. I'm mostly a conceptual, higher-level
type.
My question: given my current background, how do I best position
myself for a career in systems analysis? I'm no opposed to coding at
all, so I'm in no rush to jump ship, nor am I opposed to going back to
school. I assume that some more school time is needed...
Thanks much
