[HTML::Element] how to read element by element
Hello I read the doc about HTML::Element, but I don't find how to read the tree create by parse() element by element. The doc says the tree looks like: element #1: _tag: 'html' _parent: none _content: [element #2, element #5] lang: 'en-US' element #2: _tag: 'head' _parent: element #1 _content: [element #3, element #4] element #3: _tag: 'title' _parent: element #2 _content: [text segment "Stuff"] element #4 _tag: '...

Introductions to the Metaobject Protocol
I've been reading up on the metaobject protocol to see if it's something that applies to a problem I'm working on. I have AMOP sitting on the bookshelf, but it would be nice to have a summary. Of course, the ALU wiki has a nice page: http://wiki.alu.org/Metaobject_Protocol And there is an introduction on Dr. Dobb's http://www.ddj.com/architect/200000266 Enjoy, Tom On Dec 5, 4:54=A0am, "Thomas M. Protocols of the Elders of Zion, Introduction
[Illuminati, Freemason, Lucifer, satan, 666, NWO, Skull and Bones] Some claim the Protocols are forgery. But even if they are, what does it change? Does it somehow makes facts non factual? They claim that the entire passages were taken from some existing material. But they do not seem to bother with the fact that the entire human knowledge is such that you build on the existing material. Otherwise, you would be reinventing the wheel forever. So, what DOES it change even if some passages were taken from something else? Do they even CARE of wether it actually makes sense and corresponds to wh...

Symbolic and element to element
Hi, I have an symbolic expression in Matlab syms c a; u=c.^(1-a)./(1-a); And I diferentiate this expression. Then, I convert that expression in a string, to use in a inline function: uc=inline(char((diff(u,c))) My problem is that uc function haven't the element to element operator ".", and for this reason I can't use this function for operate any vector c. How can I do an symbolic expression or an diff that conserve the element to element operator "."? Thanks for your help, Norman M "Norman Maldonado" <normanmva@gmail.com> wrote in ...

How do I allow both elements or No elements
I have a current xsd that allows the xml to have 0..1 chassisid element and 0..1 terminalid element. But now I want to restrict these elements in a way that either both chassisid and terminalid are supplied or neither are supplies never just one of the elements is ever supplied. I believe this can be done but the restriction I have is that I cannot change the structure of the xml file, i.e. by nesting a new section for chassisid/terminalid. e.g. xsd: .... <xs:element name="chassisid" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="1"/> <xs:element...

element-by-element multiplication
Dear Mathwork users, If i have two matrices, A=magic(3) B=magic(3) a =[8 1 6; 3 5 7; 4 9 2] a = 8 1 6 3 5 7 4 9 2 b =[8 1 6; 3 5 7; 4 9 2] b = 8 1 6 3 5 7 4 9 2 What multiplication method do i use (e.g. cross/dot product) if i want to multiply each element by each element to result in a 3x3 matrix to get: c= [54, 1 36; 9 25 49; 16 81 4] c = 54 1 36 9 25 49 16 81 4 Thank you ^^ Natalie magic(3).*magic(3) Also, you really should get used to ...

concatenation element by element
Good morning. I have: a=[1,2;3,4] b=[5,6;7,8] I get as a result c=[ [1,5] , [2,6] ; [3,7] , [4,8] ] I enter in c(i,j) the item [a(i,j),b(i,j)] without cycle. With a=[1,2,3;0,3,2;6,7,1] b=[4,6,2;1,1,3;3,2,5] sizea=size(a); for i=1:sizea(1) for j=1:sizea(2) c{i,j}=[{a(i,j)},{b(i,j)}] end end if I have large arrays of the program becomes very slow. How can I do? Thanks. "ventus85 " <ventus85@katamail.com> wrote in message <ho0c23$899$1@fred.mathworks.com>... > Good morning. > I have: > a=[1,2;3,4] > b=[5,6;7,8] >...

element-by-element operations
Hi, everyone, I am calculating the energy slope of a surface using this algorithm: e.g. for the East surface of a pixel it will be: S_east = (H(i+1,j)-H(i,j))^2 + (H(i+1,j+1)+H(i,j+1)-H(i+1,j-1)-H(i,j-1))^2 Using a for loop is too slow (taking 25% of the total time), how can I do this using e-by-e calculation and/or vectorizing? The input is the position(i,j) of each pixel i.e. a large matrix H. Thank you! Oluwa KuIse > S_east = (H(i+1,j)-H(i,j))^2 + (H(i+1,j+1)+H(i,j+1)-H(i+1,j-1)-H(i,j-1))^2 % Set up a index grid. sz = size(H); [i,j] = ndgrid(1:sz(1)-1,2:sz(2)-1); S_east = zeros(sz); ...

Protocols of the Elders of Zion, Introduction 2
'PROTOCOLS OF ZION' AND 'RED SYMPHONY' Freemasonry is the world's largest secret society with over five million members, including three million in the US. It is instrumental in the totalitarian conspiracy. In The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, the author (who I believe is Lionel Rothschild) writes, "Gentile masonry blindly serves as a screen for us and our objects, but the plan of action of our force, even its very abiding place, remains for the whole people an unknown mystery....Who and what is in a position to overthrow an invisible force?" (Protocol 4) Ag...
